Test- Treat Approach

It is ideal to detect hormone imbalance early. Hormones are most accurately measured using a
Saliva Hormone Test to determine a baseline. For women testing is most commonly completed for estradiol, progesterone, testosterone, DHEA & morning cortisol. The test & treat approach involves
testing the clients hormone levels & then providing a customized treatment plan incorporating bio-identical hormones, detoxification or a combination of both.

Adrenal Exhaustion

Our Adrenal Glands are very significant in overall hormone balance during peri-menopause & menopause- & releases hormones such as adrenaline in response to stress. Overtime, especially if a client is under continous high stress- the adrenal glands can become exhausted. Many Medical Doctors do not recognize adrenal fatigue or exhaustion. Clients may suffer for years with an over or under active adrenal function.

Menopause is a great example of an overactive adrenal function with symptoms such as:
hot flashes, night sweats, insomnia & weight gain caused by chronic exposure to cortisol.
